The Akra Foundation was founded out of love for Africa and helping others. We help children from Ghana by facilitating their access to education and providing decent living conditions.

So far, we managed to collect money to build a well to provide kids of the School of Talent and Creative Arts in Tamale with clean, running water. We also organized a letter exchange between kids from Poland and Ghana. Currently we are running projects, such as long-distance adoption, students exchange, exhibitions, and last but not least, lecturers promoting smart, ethical volunteering in Africa.

WHO ARE WE?

Five  girls including medicine and psychology students, who recently came back from Ghana, a lecturer in tourism management, an English teacher currently working in an International company, and special need education teacher. We have joined forces in order to do something good.
