Charity auction “Capturing the Good”

There are places that are hard to describe in words. Photographs come with the help. The camera is easier to capture the prevailing atmosphere and emotions of people. Joy, excitement, sadness, fear. Sincere smiles and wise looks. The toil of everyday life and gratitude for what you have. The goodness that is in every human being regardless of his origin, skin color, religion or social status.

On November 22, 2019, at the Lower Silesian Film Centre in Wrocław, an exhibition of photos that were taken during our volunteering in Ghana was held. The exhibition was accompanied by an auction, the funds of which were allocated for the construction of a kitchen in the Ticheli School.

The AKRA Foundation was created out of love for Africa and helping others. We are a group of young people who have been involved in volunteering in Ghana and abroad for many years. The idea to start the foundation was born after returning from Ghana, where we helped at the School of Talent and Creative Arts. We want to use our experience and continue to support the education and development of children in Ghana.
