The need to build a kitchen in Ticheli

Seeing the huge commitment of people of goodwill, in November 2020 we decided to organize another fundraiser – this time for the construction of a kitchen on the school grounds.

Many students come to school hungry with visible signs of malnutrition. Despite great enthusiasm and desire to learn, hunger and weakness often prevent them from absorbing knowledge effectively. Providing students with warm meals will have a significant impact on the quality of their lives and education. We believe that every child deserves a happy childhood and a decent learning environment. Thanks to you – our donors, people of goodwill and wonderful patrons – we were able to carry out such an important project as the construction of the kitchen!

The AKRA Foundation was created out of love for Africa and helping others. We are a group of young people who have been involved in volunteering in Ghana and abroad for many years. The idea to start the foundation was born after returning from Ghana, where we helped at the School of Talent and Creative Arts. We want to use our experience and continue to support the education and development of children in Ghana.
