Help from preschoolers

At the end of June 2019, we managed to send two packages of gifts to children in Ghana. They included school supplies, toys and sweets, as well as drawings and letters.
Everything was collected by preschool children and their teachers. The packets were prepared together in class, giving lots of fun and excitement to the young students

Exchange of letters with children from the Integration Kindergarten “Ray of the Sun”

The children from the “Sun Ray” kindergarten started exchanging letters with the students from the school in Ticheli. We sent the first letters and packages back in June. In the correspondence, the children described their kindergarten and how they spend their time there. In August this year, we received a response from the students from Ticheli – drawings and descriptions of the school in Ghana.

Thanks to this action, the preschool children get to know the reality of Africa. It is a good lesson in empathy, tolerance and caring for others. The children felt strongly about the task, they also engaged their parents and loved ones to cooperate. The whole action was surprisingly well received by the preschool children – to this day they are in constant contact with their new friends from the school in Ticheli.
